Sticky: Ventrilo Server Information UPDATED

-Download Ventrilo from Ventrilo.com or this link
-Download the 32 bit or 64 bit Client depending on your Windows OS.


Logging In

-Launch Ventrilo
-Locate User Name (1st field) and click -> button
-Select New and enter the name you will want to be known as to the guild.
-Locate Server and click -> button
-Select New and name Alpha Imperium and click ok
-Enter the following informaion in the applicable fields


Hostname or IP: vent30.gameservers.com

Port: 4610

Password: Alpha1


With the information entered correctly hit OK to return to main launch menu.

Make sure the username field is set to your Name and Server is set to Alpha Imperiun and select Connect.


Voice Setup

To access your settings select Set Up

Voice Tab

Enable Push To Talk and set a Bind Key

Locate Output Device and Input Device and ensure the correct devices are being used.

Speech

Uncheck Play Text-to-speech messages

Overlay

Check enable Overlay Support. Once in game or testing on a different game set up your ideal sdisplay settings and preferences for the Overlay.
